Vision for the Mission

Along the bank of the river, on this side and that, will grow all kinds of trees used for food; their leaves will not wither, and their fruit will not fail. They will bear fruit every month, because their water flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food, and their leaves for medicine [healing].

Ezekiel 47:12

The Prophet Ezekiel describes the land of Israel being in need of healing, and the leaves that grow on the ever-fruitful trees planted along the life-giving river will be for the purpose of healing.

And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him. They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads. There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.

Revelation 22:1-5

The Apostle John, utilizing the prophecy of Ezekiel 47:12, expands the scope to embrace not just the land of Israel but all the nations. The need for healing is universal covering every individual, every family, every strata of society, every people group.

Our vision is to be positioned and functional in the nations, through the networking with local churches and ministries, to assist in the mission of healing. Healing involves compassion, restoration, renewal, and reconciliation. Healing for the individual is needed on the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels. Healing is needed in broken and damaged relationships – foremost between the individual with God, in marriages, in families, in churches, and in the marketplace. Healing is needed between people groups and nations.

Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
