NOVEMBER – DECEMBER 2016

We wish you a very Merry Christmas as you celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Thank you for your friendship and support throughout 2016 – our ministry in Sarajevo is established because of your partnership with us. God has proven Himself faithful to His Word and Promises toward us throughout the past year. Our faith is strong and expectations high for 2017!

Here are our three main ministry areas for 2017 to further develop:

Development of the pro-life ministry Center For Life “LIGHTHOUSE” – Sandrina is the new director. Her vision is to provide pregnancy and parenting resources for expectant mothers. The Lighthouse team will be developing counseling rooms in medical centers, abstinence courses for schools and continue helping families that choose for the life of the unborn in place of aborting.

Development of the children’s ministry center “Noah’s Ark” which presently provides a daily workshop Monday through Friday from 3pm to 6pm for children ages 4-9 years old. Our daily program includes arts & crafts, music, films, games and story time. Families can also use the children’s center for birthday parties. We also organize children concerts and special events. Although not our primary focus, we do have opportunity to serve a number of families with special needs children.

Development of the local church fellowship “RAFAEL”, which meets on Sunday mornings at 10:30 for worship along with Wednesday night prayer meetings. “RAFAEL” is also home for a Monday night addiction recovery group, FOCUS Business School, GIDEON’S International Bible distribution and hosting other ministry events. Our goal is to have the “RAFAEL” ministry center opened daily for youth activities, also.

The truck from England transporting the Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes from Samaritan’s Purse Ministry (Franklin Graham) arrived into Sarajevo in the middle of the night – 500 shoe boxes were delivered to our ministry center for distribution! We will be organizing a special children’s workshop that will lead the children through 12 lessons about the Christmas story.

USA ROADTRIP

Our USA Road Trip has been a blessed time as we have had quality time with family and supporters in Tennessee, Louisiana and Alabama. Keep praying for Baton Rouge, Louisiana, as so many homes, businesses and churches continue the long recovery from the August flood. Our remaining itinerary is the following locations and dates – let us know if you would like to meet with us when we are in your area!
