CHILDREN’S MINISTRY CENTER

We are now needing ONLY $11,000 / Euro 10,000 to finish out the Children’s Ministry Center! If you can give extra this month to help us finished out this project it would be a tremendous blessing for us! Many, many children and families are going to be blessed by this facility. Your SEED will bear FRUIT – sow today for the harvest tomorrow!
EASTER SERVICE
We had a special Easter service as the Lord brought visiting pastors from out the North: Arie van Oudheusen (The Netherlands), the East: Fentje & Esther (Indonesia), the South: Chris Dakis (Albania), and the West: Jim Kingsbury (USA).

This Easter service was extra special because we were able to dedicate Lidija Fejzanovic unto the Lord Jesus – her parents, Remi and Dejana, are on our leadership team. Lidija has a older brother, Ezra, who is 3 years old.
PRO-LIFE WORKSHOP FOR WOMEN
We held our first pro-life workshop for women at our ministry center RAFAEL. Eileen Pressler (right), the director of the pro-life center LIGHTHOUSE in Sarajevo, and Dejana Fejzanovic, presented the resources and services available for women facing the choice between abortion or life for their unborn child.

FOCUS BUSINESS SCHOOL GRADUATES
We graduated 7 students from our first FOCUS BUSINESS SCHOOL class, which lasted 10 weeks. Dr. Reinhold Harms (far right) is from Germany and has lived 16 years in Sarajevo. We had a great time teaching the course together. The graduates were impacted by the course, several having opened the Bible for the first time in their lives. All three main nationalities of Bosnia (Muslim, Serbian, Croatian) were represented in the group. New generation of Bosnian entrepreneurs!
YWAM TEAM FROM SWITZERLAND
PRAY for the Youth With A Mission (YWAM) team from Davos, Switzerland, who will be helping us for the next 3 months, especially in youth outreach and ministry.
CARING FOR THE WIDOWS
Although we highlight ‘events’, our day-to-day ministry is very much one-on-one, spending time with people. Sandrina was led to visit a widow this week in her apartment. While the lady had to go to another room for a few minutes, Sandrina checked her refrigerator – totally empty. The lady’s pension check for the month had not arrived. Sandrina went to the marketplace with her and bought her food for the week. It was a stark reminder that many of the elderly in this nation are in survival mode. Pray that the Lord would give us wisdom in how to reach out to the widows He would have us to care for.
