SPECIAL SARAJEVO THANKSGIVING
This morning’s worship service, November 22nd, was in so many ways a special morning. Winter finally arrived in the night to Sarajevo with it’s first snow gently covering the awaiting trees and quite streets. In the morning hours the sun broke through and a beautiful rainbow appeared above the sleepy town. The new ministry center in Dobrinja, not yet ready for the public, filled up as many first-time guests arrived to witness our first baby dedication, that of one-month old Lukas. Being our sixth ‘practice service’, it proved to be our largest attendance so far with 55 adults and children.
After the service, we reflected together how God has been so gracious and faithful in providing this new facility for us as a church and how so many of you have sown sacrificially into our lives and ministry through intercession and finances. Although most of you are thousands of miles away, you are partnering with God in creating a miracle here in Bosnia – establishing a ministry center in the heart of a nation of nearly 4 million citizens that has only about 400 born again believers. May the Lord Jesus Christ bless you abundantly!
